Edmé was born in 1685 in Saint-Césaire, Troyes, Champagne (Aube), the son of unknown parents.
His wife was Françoise Forestier, who he married on 29 AUG 1706 in Montréal QC . Their only known child was François-Urbain (1709-1737).
