Teobaldo was born about 1230, the son of Obizzo Visconti and Fiorina Mandelli. The place is not known.
He died in 1276 in Gallarate, Milano.
His wife was Anastasia Pirovano. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Matteo I (1250-1322), Uberto (?-1315), Stefano (?-1327) and Ottorino (?-1336).
