Federigo was born on 13 DEC 1272 in Barcelona, prov. Barcelona, Cataluña, España , the son of Pedro de Aragón and Constance de Sicile.

He died on 25 JUN 1337 in Palerme.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Eléanore d'Anjou, who he married in 1303. The place has not been found. Their nine known children were Pedro II (1304-1342), Roger (1305-?), Roger Manfred (1306-1317), Constance (?-?), Isabella (c1309-1349), Guillaume (1312-1338), Juan (1317-1348), Catherine (1320-c1342) and Marguerite (1331-c1360).

His second wife was Sybille Sormella. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Alphonse Frédéric (?-1338), Roland (?-?) and Élisabeth (?-1341).
