Élisabeth was born on 07 JUL 1207 in Sárospatak ou Presbourg, the daughter of András II Árpád and Gertrude de Méranie.

She died on 17 NOV 1231 in Marburg.

Her husband was beatus Ludwig IV von Thüringen, who she married in 1221. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Hermann II (1222-1241), Sophie (1224-1275) and Gertrud (1227-1297).
