Adelheid was born about 1020 in Leuven, Belge, the daughter of Reginar von Löwen and NN de Flandre.

She died in 1083 in Weimar.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Otto I von Weimar-Orlamünde, who she married in BEF 1060. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Adelheid (c1065-1100), Kunigunde (c1065-1140) and Oda (?-1111).

Her second husband was Dedo von Wettin, who she married in AFT 1067. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
