Jacques was born in 1485 in Randonnai (Randonnay), Tourouvre, Mortagne-au-Perche, Orne, Basse-Normandie, France , the son of Gervais du Tremblay de la Poterie but his mother is unknown.
He died in 1544 in France.
His wife is not known, but they married in BEF 1554 in France. Their only known child was Gallien (c1525->1565).
