He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Marie-Madeleine Paradis, who he married in 1674. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Marie (1675-1737).

His second wife was Marguerite Lerouge, who he married on 7 FEB 1686 in Québec (ville) QC . Their three known children were Marie-Jeanne (1693-1760), Marie-Geneviève (1695-?) and Gaspard (1698-?).
