He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Anne Cloutier, who he married on 12 JUL 1637 in Québec (ville) QC . Their three known children were Agnès (1641-1641), Geneviève (1643-1710) and Jeanne (1646-1732).
His second wife was Marie Chapelier, who he married on 26 NOV 1649. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Marie (1650-1664), Nicolas (1652-1723), Pierre (1653-?), Marguerite (1655-1692), Étienne (<1658-1732), Catherine (1660-1734), Jean-Baptiste (1662-?) and Marie-Madeleine (1664-1665).
