Guyon was born about 1641 in La Rochelle, Charente-Maritime (prev. in Aunis), Poitou-Charentes, France , the son of Pierre Giasson and Marie Péroche.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Marie Beliveau, who he married on BEF 30 DEC 1666. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Jean (<1666-1719).

His second wife was Jeanne Bernard, who he married on BEF 31 DEC 1666. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Françoise (1668-?) and Michel (<1674-1759).
