He died about 1754 in Kaskaskia (now in Randolph Co IL) .
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Marie-Madeleine Cabassier, who he married on 21 JAN 1697 in Basilique Notre-Dame de Montréal, Montréal QC . Their three known children were Pierre (1697/98-1718), Marie-Louise-Daniele (1699-1737) and Charles (1695-1695/96).
His second wife was Angélique Guyon dit DuRouvray, who he married on 24 NOV 1700 in Montréal QC . Their eight known children were Louis-Marie (1702-1754), Catherine-Angélique (1703-?), Philippe (Joyeaux) (1707-<1743), Marie-Anne (1705-1744), Marguerite (1711-1764), Joseph (1713-1782), Marie-Élisabeth (1716-?) and Charles-François (1721-1721).
