Personal and Family Information

Malcolm was born about 1031 in Scotland, the son of Duncan I MacCrinan and Sybille of Huntingdon.

He died on 13 NOV 1093 in Alnwick, Northumberland, England .

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Ingibiorg Finnsdatter, who he married in ABT 1060. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Duncan II (c1067-1094) and Domnall (?-1085).

His second wife was saint Marguerite d'Écosse, who he married in 1070. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Edward (1070-1093), Edgar I (1074-1107), Alexandre I (1078-1124), Edith (c1079-1118), David I (1084-1153), Mary (c1081-1116), Edmund (?-?) and Ethelred (?-1097).
