Flavius was born in 0539 in Cappadocia (roman prov.) Anatolia, Turkey , the son of Paulus de Arabisso but his mother is unknown.

He died in 0602 in Byzantium (Βυζάντιον, Constantinople, Istanbul), Istanbul prov., Marmara, Turkey .

His wife was Constantina, who he married on 5 AUG 0582. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Miriam (c0583-?).
