Friedrich was born about 1122 in Waiblingen, Rems-Murr-Kreis, Stuttgart, Baden-Wurtemberg, Deutschland , the son of Friedrich II Luscus von Schwaben and Jutte von Bayern.

He died on 06 JUN 1190 in Göksu (Saleph) River, Cilicia .

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Adela von Vohburg. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
