He died on 08 APR 1143 in Cilicia (now in Turkey).
His wife was saint Piroska dite Eirene Árpád, who he married in 1104. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Alexios (1106-1142), Maria (1106-<1151), Andronikos (c1108-1142), Anna (1110-?), Isaakios (c1113-<1174), Theodora (1116-1157), Manuel I (1118-1180) and Eudokia (1119-?).
