Her husband was Vladimir II Monomakh. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Mstislav I (1076-1132), Izyaslav (c1077-1096), Svyatoslav (c1080-1114), Yaropolk II (1082-1139), Viacheslav I (1083-1154) and Marina (?-1146).

Note 1

"Gytha the Queen" died as a nun on 10 March. It is assumed that she followed Godfrey of Bouillon in the first Crusade and died in Palestine, most likely in 1098, as a year later Vladimir Monomakh married another woman.
