Notes

Note 1

Louis Gonzague Deshêtres dit Pigeon and Marie Louise Thérèse Bertrand Beaulieu were excommunicated on 2 October 1774 for cohabitating without being lawfully married. Although they had gone through a marriage ceremony, Louise was already married to Jean Breche dit Labatterie, who was still living.

Note 2

Mr de lusignan, commander of the post, was his godfather and Charlotte Robert jeanne, wife of francois menard, was the godmother (Monsieur de Lusignan was Paul-Louis Dazemard, Sieur de Lusignan). "de Gonazgue" was probably added to his name at this official baptism which was on the official feast day of Louis de Gonzaga.
