A Marie Lamy, parents unknown m. abt 1671 St Ours, Québec François Chévrefils dit Lalime and had 4 children: Marie Anne b. abt 1672, Louis b. abt 1674, Mathurin b. abt 1674 and François b. abt 1678 (see Jetté p. 249). After the death of François in 1678 at Sorel she remarried 1678-1679 St Ours, Québec to Jean Duval, parents unknown, children: Jean b. abt 1680, Françoise b. 21-10-1682, Pierre b. 13-2-1683, Marie Jean b. abt 1695 & Marc-Antoine b. abt 1692. Marie Lamy 28 years of age in census of 1681 (b. abt 1656) d. after 1725 at St Ours. (Jetté p. 399). This Marie was reported by Tanguay Vol 1 p. 127 to have been born in 1753. Some researchers have recorded that this Marie Lamy m(3) Michel Dagneau de Douville, Sieur de Quindre. This seems unlikely given there is a record of the parents of Marie Lamy m. Michel Dagneau (Jetté p. 641) and considering the last children born to their marriage were in 1712 at which time the first mentioned Marie Lamy would have been abt 56 to 59 years of age. There is an overlap in the dates of birth of children of the two Marie's. Also Marie m. Michel Dagneau d. 1716 whereas the other Marie d. after 1725.
