Margherita was the daughter of unknown parents. The date and place of her birth have not been found.

She died before APR 1268. The place is not known.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Bonifacio II di Montferrato, who she married on 9 DEC 1235 in Chivasso (Civas, Ciuvas), Torino, Piemonte, Italia . Their only known child was Alessine (c1237-1285).

Her second husband was Aymar III de Poitiers-Valentinois, who she married on 26 JAN 1255. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Philippe (?-c1283) and Anne (c1289-1351).
