Bartholomew was born about 1275 in Badlesmere castle, Conisbrough, Kent, England, the son of unknown parents.
He died on 14 APR 1322 in Blean near Canterbury.
His wife was Margaret de Clare, who he married on BEF 30 JUN 1308. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Margery (1304-<1363), Maud (c1310-1366), Elizabeth (1313-1356) and Margaret (c1315-1344).
