Václav was born on 17 SEP 1271, the son of Otakar II Přemysl and Kunigunda Rostislavna von Halicz. The place is not known.

He died on 21 JUN 1305 in Prague (Praha), Čechy .

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Guta von Habsburg, who he married in 1279 in Jihlava. Their nine known children were Přemysl Otakar (1288-1288), Venceslas III (1289-1306), Agnès (1289-<1306), Anna (1290-1313), Eliška (1292-1330), Guta (1293-1294), Jean (1295-1296), Markéta (1296-1322) and Guta (1297-1297).

His second wife was Élizabeth Ryksa de Pologne, who he married in 1300. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Agnès (1305-1337).
