Personal and Family Information

Akhenaten was the son of Amenhotep III Nebmare and Tiye-Nefertari. The date and place of his birth have not been found.

He died in BET 1336 B.C. AND 1334 B.C.. The place is not known.

He had three marriages/partners. His first wife was Tadukhepa Nefertiti. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Meritaten (?-?), Ankhsenpaaten (?-?) and Neferneteru-Aten (?-?).

His second wife was Mummy KV35YL. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Tutankhamun Nebkheprure (1341BC-1323BC).

His third wife was Ankhsenpaaten. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Ankhesenpaaten ta Sherif (?-?).
