Charles was born on 15 FEB 1812 in Dover Township, Kent Co ON , the son of Gabriel Peltier and Marie-Catherine Dagneau de Quindre.

He died about 1851. The place is not known.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Marguerite Bernier, who he married on 21 NOV 1836 in Église Saint-Pierre-sur-la-Tranche (St. Peter's Church), Chatham-Kent ON . They had no known children.

His second wife was Charlotte Parent, who he married on 16 APR 1841 in Église Saint-Pierre-sur-la-Tranche (St. Peter's Church), Chatham-Kent ON . They had no known children.

Parish Records of St Peters, Tilbury East: 17-2-1812 by me the undersigned priest baptised Charles born (illegible) of the legitimate marriage of Gabriel Peltier and Catherine Fontenay; the godfather was Jean Baptiste Langlois and the godmother was Marie Pilet who declared they could not write.  Signed Marchand, Priest.  It may be that the baptism was recorded at Assumption because St Peters would have been serviced by priests from that church at that time.
