Pál was born about 1566 in Bribir, Croatia, the son of Gyorgy Melith de Brebir and Anna Csáholyi.
He died in 1605 in Csenger.
His wife was Krisztina Chapy, who he married in ABT 1583. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Zsuzsanna (1586-<1631), Peter (?-1644), Katalin (?-?), Zsofia (?-?), Pál (?-1610), Gyorgy (?-?) and Dorottya (?-?).
