Auguste was born on 19 AUG 1794 in château d'Etoy, Vaud, Suisse, the son of César Auguste de Senarclens de Grancy and Élizabeth Claudine Marie-Rose de Loriol.

He died on 03 OCT 1871 in Jugenheim.

He had two marriages/partners. His first partner was Wilhelmine Luise von Baden, but they were never married. Their three known children were Elisabeth (1821-1826), Alexander Ludwig Georg Friedrich Emil (1823-1888) and Maximiliane Wilhelmine Auguste Sophie Marie (1824-1880).

His second wife was Luise Wilhelmine Camille von Otting und Fünfstetten, who he married in AFT 1836. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Albert (?-?) and Louis (1839-<1910).
