Their seven known children were Wilhelm Ernst (1717-1719), Wilhelmine Auguste (1717-1752), Johann Wilhelm (1719-1732), Charlotte Agnes (1720-1724), Johanna Eleonora (1721-1722), Ernestine Albertine (1722-1769) and Bernhardine Christiane Sophie (1724-1757).

His second partner is not knownThey were never married. Their only known child was Ernst Friedrich (1731-1810).

His third wife was Sophie Charlotte Albertine von Brandenburg-Kulmbach-Bayreuth, who he married on 7 APR 1734. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Karl August (1735-1736), Ernst II August Konstantin (1737-1758), Ernestine Auguste Sophie (1740-1786) and Ernst Adolf (1742-1743).
