Christina was the daughter of Rombaur van Wachtendonk and Aleyt de Cock van Beusekom. The date and place of her birth have not been found.
She died in 1561 in Malines.
Her husband was Johann Baptista von Taxis, who she married in 1514 in Antwerp. Their twelve known children were Roger (1513-1593), Raimundo (1515-1579), Leonhard I (1521-1612), Franciscus (1521-1543), Ludwig (?->1568), Johann Baptista (c1530-1610), Ursula (?-?), Margareta (?-1596), Maria (?-1601), Adelheid (?->1599), Regina (?->1568) and Allegra (?-?).
