Jane was born about 1483 in Knockin, Oswestry, Shropshire, England, the daughter of sir George KG, KB Stanley and Joan IX Mary le Strange.

She died in 1519/20. The place is not known.

Her husband was sir Robert Sheffield. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Edmund (1521-1549).
