Margaret was born on 28 NOV 1489 in Westminster Palace, Westminster, London, England , the daughter of Henry VII Tudor and Elizabeth Plantagenêt.

She died on 18 OCT 1541 in Methven Castle, Perthshire, Scotland.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was James IV Stewart, who she married on 8 AUG 1503 in Holyrood Abbey, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Their five known children were James (1507-1508), Dorothea (1508-?), Arthur (1509-1510), James V (1512-1542) and Alexander (1514-1515).

Her second husband was Archibald Douglas, who she married on 6 Aug 1514. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Margaret (1515-1578).
