Thomas was born in 1472 in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England, the son of Maurice VII de Berkeley and Isabel Meade.

He died on 22 JAN 1533 in Mangotsfield, Gloucestershire, England.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Eleanor Constable, who he married in ABT 1504. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Thomas (1505-1534), Maurice (c1507-?), Joan (c1508-1563) and Muriel (c1516-1542).

His second wife was Cecilie Arnold. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. They had no known children.
