Florence was born about 1425 in Littlecote, Wiltshire, England, the daughter of sir William Darrell and Elizabeth Calston.

She died in 1506. The place is not known.

Her husband was Thomas Brugge, who she married on ABT 28 MAY 1453. The place has not been found. Their eight known children were Thomas (c1454-?), Anne (c1455-?), Elizabeth (c1459-1535), Alice (c1461-?), sir Giles (<1462-1511), Eleanor (c1463-?), Henry (c1464-c1537) and Jane (c1468-?).
