Frederick was born about 1416 in Norfolk, Norfolk, England, the son of sir Philip II de Tilney and Isabel de Thorpe.
He died before 1447. The place is not known.
His wife was Elizabeth Cheyney. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Elizabeth (<1445-1497).
