Marie was born about 1340 in Bourgogne, the daughter of François de Duisy but her mother is unknown.
Her husband was Philippe de Savoisy. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Charles (c1351-1372), Pierre (c1353-?), Louis (c1355-?), Isabelle (c1357-?), Charles (c1360-<1420) and Catherine (c1382-?).
