Personal and Family Information

Kęstutis was born about 1297 in Vilnius, the son of Gédyminas and Olga Vsevolodovna Smolenskaya.

He died in BET 03 AUG 1382 AND 15 AUG 1382 in Kreva castle, Belarus.

He had two marriages/partners. His first wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Patrikejs (1348-c1365), Vaidots (?->1362), Vaišvils (?-c1387), Būtauts (c1349->1380) and Zigmants (?-?).

His second wife was Birutė. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their seven known children were Vytautas Didysis (c1350-1430), Towtiwil (c1355-1390), Korybut (>1350-1440), Miklause (?-1404), Danuta Anna (1362-1448), Rymgajla (?->1430) and Miluša (c1350-?).
