Margaret was the daughter of sir David de Dunbar but her mother is unknown. The date and place of her birth have not been found.

She died in BET JUL 1498 AND JAN 1500. The place is not known.

She had two marriages/partners. Her first husband was Alexander Lindsay. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Elizabeth (1429->1509), David (1440-1495) and Alexander (1443-1517).

Her second husband was sir William Wallace, who she married in ABT 1470. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
