Dorothy was born about 1465 in Dudley castle, Worcestershire (now in West Midlands), England , the daughter of sir Edmund Sutton and Maud de Clifford.
She died in 1517. The place is not known.
Her husband was Richard Wrottesley. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Walter (c1483-1563), Thomas (c1509-?), Henry (c1513-?), George (c1515-?), Ellinor (c1517-?) and Margery (c1521-?).
