Fadrique was the son of Enrique II de Castilla and Beatriz Ponce de León. The date and place of his birth have not been found.
He died in 1394 in Almodovar del Rio.
His wife was Leonor III Urraca Sánchez de Castilla. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Leonor (1392-c1470).
