He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Constança de Aragón, who he married in 1260 in Soria, Soria prov., Castilla y León, España . Their three known children were Alfonso Manuel (>1260-1276), Violante Manuel (c1265-1314) and Constança Manuel (?-?).
His second wife was Béatrice de Savoie, who he married in 1274/75. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Juan Manuel (1282-1348) and Sancho Manuel (1283->1320).
