He died on 16 JUN 1426 in Ústí nad Labem (Aussig), Böhmen.
His wife was Sophie von Werben. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Veit II (1418-1472), Katharina (1419->1453), Dietrich (1420-<1453), Friedrich XV (c1422-1480) and Margarethe (1424-1485).
