He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Isabel de Saddyngton. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Margaret (1353-1406).
His second wife was Maud de Sutton, who he married in 1377. The place has not been found. Their six known children were sir Ralph (c1385-1405), Richard (1387-1436), John (c1392-<1455), Bartholomew (1396-?), sir Leonard (c1397-1455) and Maud (1398-?).
