Roger was born on 11 APR 1374 in Usk, Monmouthshire, Cymru, the son of Edmund de Mortimer and Philippe Plantagenêt.

He died on 20 JUL 1398 in Kells, co. Meath, Eire.

His wife was Alianore I de Holland, who he married on ABT 7 OCT 1388. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Anne (1390-1411), Edmund (1391-1425), Roger (1398-c1410) and Eleanor (?->1414).
