Cormac was born in 1346 in Corcaigh, Ireland, the son of Diarmuid Mor McCarthy and Ellen Butler.
He died in 1374. The place is not known.
His wife was Catherine Buttervant. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Tieg MacCormac (c1380-1448) and Domhnall (?-?).
