He died about 1411 in Copley, Calderdale, Yorkshire, England.
His wife was Elizabeth Thornhill. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their five known children were Nicholas (c1375-?), sir Thomas (c1381-1449), John (c1390-?), Henry (c1400-?) and Jennett (?-?).
