Elisabeth was born about 1273 in Brake, Wesermarsch, the daughter of Bernhard IV zur Lippe and Agnes van Kleef.

She died after 22 SEP 1325. The place is not known.

Her husband was Heinrich IV von Solms-Braunfels-Westerburg, who she married on BEF 17 MAR 1295. The place has not been found. Their six known children were Heinrich V (I) (c1296-1353), Bernhard I (c1298-<1349), Simon (c1300-1398), Dietrich (?->1325), Elisabeth (?-1351) and Mechtild (?->1343).
