Catherine was born about 1387 in Poitiers, Vienne, Poitou-Charentes, France , the daughter of Pierre Tyrel de Poix and Emmelotte de Montbertaut.

She died about 1450. The place is not known.

Her second husband was Jean II de Fiennes du Bois. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was Jeanne (c1405-?).
