Allan was born about 1325 in Banchory, Fifeshire, Scotland, the son of sir William Erskine and Beatrix Stewart.
He died in MAY 1400 in Inchmartine, Perthshire, Scotland.
His wife was Isabel Inchmartin, who he married in BEF 1362. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Margaret (c1357-1419) and Isabel (c1375-<1427).
