Alice was born about 1287 in Fritwell, Oxfordshire, England, the daughter of sir Henry de Tyeys and Hawise de Montagu.

She died on 02 AUG 1347 in Chilton Folliot, Wiltshire, England.

Her husband was Warin de l'Isle, who she married in ABT 1302. The place has not been found. Their five known children were Margery (c1314-1361), sir Gerard (c1304-1360), sir Warin (?-1361), Alice (?->1344) and Henry (?-?).
