William was born about 1312 in Caldecote, Northamptonshire, England, the son of Humphrey VIII de Bohun and Elizabeth Plantagenêt.
He died on 16 SEP 1360 in Walden abbey, Essex, England.
His wife was Elizabeth de Badlesmere, who he married in 1335. The place has not been found. Their two known children were sir Humphrey IX (1342-1372) and Elizabeth (c1350-1385).
