Richard was born about 1382 in Kinnersley castle, Chilston, Herefordshire, England, the son of sir Kynard de la Bere and NN Monington.
He died in 1422 in Weobley, Herefordshire, England .
His wife was Joan West. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their two known children were Agnes (c1416-?) and sir Kynard (c1418-1453).
