William was born about 1349 in Penhow Castle, Newport, Monmouthshire, Cymru, the son of Roger de Saint-Maur and Lettice Damarell.
He died on 25 AUG 1391 in Hatch Beauchamp, Taunton, Somerset, England.
His wife was Margaret de Brockbury, who he married in ABT 1369. The place has not been found. Their only known child was Roger (<1370-c1420).
