Joan was born about 1334 in Charfield, Gloucestershire, England, the daughter of sir Piers le Veel and Katherine de Clyvedon.
Her husband was sir Henry Moigne. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their only known child was sir John (1354-1429).
